According to the NYPD, the two victims were attacked just before 4 a.m. Monday, in the vicinity of Roosevelt Avenue and 76th Street in Jackson Heights.

The 30-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and face, and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals Elmhurst in critical condition. The 29-year-old man, identified by police as Tsering Wangdu, was stabbed in the leg and pronounced dead at the same hospital.

The relationship between the two victims was not immediately clear, police said.

Police had no information about the suspect, and no arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning.
