Police said they're investigating a home on Staten Island Tuesday after a 911 call to the address led them to find a stash of weapons, including grenades.

NYPD officials said first responders were called to a house on Governor Road in Castleton Corners around 5 a.m. Monday to tend to an injured 65-year-old man who was lying on the floor.

After taking him to Richmond University Medical Center in stable condition, EMS workers found a gun on the bed and alerted police. Officers executed a search warrant and found more guns along with three inert grenades, according to the NYPD. Inert grenades are typically hollowed out of explosive material but still make a loud pop when detonated.

Officials said the man was home alone at the time of the 911 call, and did not immediately say what kinds of injuries he had.
