Subway service on the N, Q, R and W lines was "severely disrupted" in both directions Monday morning as emergency responders assisted a person struck by a train at the 14th Street-Union Square station, according to the MTA.

Southbound N, Q and R trains were not stopping at the station, with N and Q trains making local stops between the 34th Street-Herald Square and Canal Street stops, the MTA said. W train service was suspended in both directions.

No N or W service was available in Queens, the transit authority said, recommending passengers take the 7, E or F lines to get between Queens and Manhattan.

For service between Brooklyn and Manhattan, the MTA recommended taking the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D or F trains.

Police said they were investigating the incident, which the MTA first alerted riders about shortly after 8:30 a.m.

There were delays on the B, D, F and M lines in both directions due to N, Q and R trains being rerouted in Manhattan, per the transit authority.

The MTA also said it was conducting an investigation at ‌the 5th Avenue/59th Street station. Check out the latest service updates on the transit authority's website.
