First responders are currently rushing to rescue a construction worker believed to be trapped in debris from a wall that collapsed in Sunset Park earlier this afternoon.
Dozens of firefighters are now at the scene—714 39th Street off 7th Avenue—and are sifting through rubble for the victim. Emergency workers have not been able to locate the man since the wall fell nearly three hours ago. Rain is currently hampering the rescue effort, according to an FDNY spokesperson.

It remains unclear what caused the wall to collapse.
