A man's body was found hanging by the neck from a highway sign on the Cross Island Parkway in Queens this morning.

A corpse was found hanging by the neck from a highway sign on the Cross Island Parkway in Queens this morning.
According to police, the 57-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was found hanging from a traffic sign near Exit 31 on the southbound side of the parkway in Bayside. He was declared dead at the scene.
The body was first spotted by commuters during the rush hour commute, before 7 a.m. Wednesday. Cops add that they are investigating the incident as a suicide.
