Sept. 19, 2023, 5:39 p.m.
An 18-year-old male is in critical condition and two 17-year-old males are listed as stable.

One teenager was stabbed and two others were slashed near a Brooklyn High School Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The incident took place just before 3 p.m. at 98th Street and East New York Avenue outside of K568 Brownsville Academy High School, according to the NYPD.
Police said an 18-year-old who was stabbed in the chest was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition. Two 17-year-olds were taken to Brookdale University Hospital — one with a slash wound to the ear and the other with a slash wound to the chest – and listed in stable condition.
It was not clear if the victims were students from the nearby school building.
Department of Education spokesperson Jenna Lyle said both school staff and emergency services responded to the incident.
“Violence has absolutely no place in our communities,” Lyle said. “NYPD, EMS, school staff and NYPD school safety agents immediately responded to this incident, which occurred off school property during dismissal.”
She said the DOE is “providing the necessary follow-up supports to this school community, including emotional and mental health supports for any student who needs it.”
No arrests had been made as of Tuesday evening. An NYPD investigation is ongoing.
