A few years ago Oprah delved into the world of small New York City apartments, and in case you missed it (like us), check out how one couple and their baby lived in a 265-square-foot space in the West Village. Their tips: paint the walls white, take the doors off of closets, and have your baby sleep in a basket on your nightstand!
For comparison, the largest of the city's new micro-apartments will be 370-square-feet... 105 more square-feet than this space.
Of course, living in such a tiny space is a lot easier when you can escape to your 18 acres in the Hamptons. The couple in the video are Maxwell and Sara Kate Gillingham-Ryan, who started Apartment Therapy and split up last year.
