Say what you want about Improv Everywhere—but who amongst us can complain

Say what you want about Improv Everywhere—but who amongst us can complain about a recreation (albeit, a low budget recreation) of the 1984 classic Ghostbusters staged inside of the New York Public Library? Check out the troupe's latest prank below, where some library patrons get a quick study break (the scene and chase only lasted a few minutes).

When the guard asked the first ghost what he was doing, he responded, "Um... haunting the library." Apparently an acceptable answer! With all those old books and documents—including Percy Shelley's wife's suicide note—the library surely has its fair share of ghosts already.

P.S. The NYPL asked Improv Everywhere to come in and perform this prank, so don't try this at home! You may get tackled by the guard, or Slimer. This is all part of the library's advocacy campaign to combat their proposed $37MM budget cut.
