CoJo, who recently quit smoking, catches some serious air.

It's a dreary rainy Monday morning out there, but here inside this happy blog post it's still sunny and Saturday, which is when City Council Speaker Corey Johnson wowed New Yorkers with his gravity-defying dance moves at the Brooklyn Twilight Pride Parade in Park Slope. Step back in time to the weekend for a moment with CoJo, seen here becoming an exuberant bouncing ball of infectious joy:

Of course, diehard CoJo fans (a.k.a. CoJonesers) know this isn't the first time Johnson has shown off his signature aerial toe-touching. Here's a compilation of his moves from the 2017 Pride parade in Manhattan:

Johnson, who is openly gay and sober, recently quit smoking, and in a lengthy interview with Gothamist's Jake Offenhartz, said giving up cigarettes "feels like the final mountain to climb, and it feels much harder than quitting alcohol and drugs. I wasn't a daily drinker. I was kind of a weekend warrior. But smoking I do every day, multiple times a day. It was much more part of my routine. This feels much, much harder than getting sober."

Johnson is also exploring a run for Mayor in the event his dance career doesn't pan out. For comparison, here's our current mayor's signature dance, The Smackdown:

And sure, why not, here's de Blasio's predecessor dancing with Lady Gaga:
