How does the Empire State Building measure up to other skyscrapers around the world? It's a little small... but still a classic.
Think being on the 103rd floor of the Empire State Building is vertigo inducing? Well in Dubai, the buildings grow straight through the clouds. A new diagram shows the World's Tallest Buildings as of July 2011, and the side-by-side of the Empire State Building and the Burj Khalifa building in Dubai makes the former look miniscule.
Curbed points out that the "Skyscraper Page also organizes towers by height order in the future (projected for 2015) and the ones currently under construction across the globe." Here's how One World Trade Center will measure up against the ESB and the Burj Khalifa:
