Subway 'Bag Dogs' Instagram Account Is The Only Good Instagram Account

Following this account may be the only good thing you'll do today.

Yesterday, we were quite distraught to see a dapper little doggo taking up a seat on the C train—it wasn't the dog's fault of course, who looked rather mortified at all the attention his delightful little pants were getting, but rather the irresponsible human who put it there. But Gothamist is of course a pro-transit animals organization (even when it comes to big ass iguanas)—especially if those animals are in a bag, as the MTA stipulates, like this cute fucker right here.

So this seems like the perfect opportunity to bring up the only good Instagram account: BAG DOGS. The account, which has existed since October 2015, includes photos of dogs-in-bags in other parts of the city as well, but the majority of its content is dedicated to capturing the subway good boy phenomenon. Whether being squeezed between tote handles or hanging out the side of a backpack, these puppers are the best thing you'll see today or any day.

So consider this a very important public service announcement, and go unfollow all your other nanoinfluencer friends. On second thought, there is one other good Instagram account you shouldn't sleep on: Pierre Valmont, a.k.a., the NYC-based model who literally—I am not exaggerating here one bit when I write this—can physically only make one face (and that one face is Blue Steel).
