This year’s Governors Ball Music Festival will take place from Friday, May 31st through Sunday, June 2nd on beautiful Randall’s Island Park. With performances from Florence + The Machine, Tyler, The Creator, The Strokes, Lil Wayne, SZA, NAS, The 1975, Kacey Musgraves, Major Lazer, Brockhampton, Louis The Child, Mitski, and many more, Governors Ball will showcase 70 artists throughout the weekend.
The ninth annual edition of New York City’s own homegrown music fest will also feature a lot of new and exciting programming for attendees beyond the music. Governors Ball is stepping up its already incredible food lineup in a big way, with mashups between vendors like a caffeinated desert from Davey's Ice Cream and Rise Coffee, and a brand new daily brunch program from 12-3pm including options like Austin style breakfast tacos from King David Tacos and a Jameson & Coffee cocktail with donut skewer. Full details HERE under Brunch Program.
And don’t forget to wear your Pride colors on Saturday, June 1st, when Governors Ball will kick off World Pride month with rainbow flair throughout the grounds. Among other events and surprises, a Pride Parade will be led across the festival by NYC Drag Queens, culminating in 3 afternoon drag performances, and an all LGBTQ+ artist lineup will perform at the Bud Light Dive Bar that afternoon, which will serve Bud Light’s new rainbow aluminum bottles benefitting GLAAD. For each purchase of one of these limited-edition bottles, Bud Light will donate $1 to GLAAD (up to $150,000). Not to mention rainbow bagels sold at the brand new Gov Ball Bodega, a one stop shop for snacks, refreshing drinks, sunscreen, and of course, the ATM.
