Remember when Louis C.K.'s modest yacht got stuck in the mud and we were all like: "That's not a yacht." Here is why we all thought that. When we think of yachts we think of something grandiose and not of this world, something James Bond would own, something with helipads... like this thing, which was floating near the Statue of Liberty yesterday. The monstrous vessel was caught on film by the New York Harbor cam:
According to one Redditor, the Coast Guard boat next to it in the above photo is 87 feet long, compared to the Eclipse's 536 feet. And since it only arrived here yesterday, it may still be in view today.

The yacht—the world's largest private yacht—is called the M/Y Eclipse, and is owned by Russian businessman Roman Abramovich, owner of Chelsea Football Club. It features 2 helicopter pads, 24 guest cabins, two swimming pools, a few hot tubs, a disco hall, a military-grade missile defense system, and a mini-submarine.
